PolygonLogix Lite Privacy Policy

PolygonLogix LLC ("we", "our" or "us") provides PolygonLogix™ Lite, a subscription web application at polygonlogix.online (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, store, retain and protect information in connection with the Service. It covers the Service only; the PolygonLogix Privacy Policy covers our website and the desktop software. PolygonLogix Lite is a hosted service, so unlike the desktop software it stores your part files and quote data on our servers, as described below.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you subscribe or contact us we collect your name or business name, e-mail address, and the billing details you enter at checkout. Card numbers are entered directly with our payment processor and are never held by us.

Information you put into the Service. To provide the Service we store the part files you upload and the geometry read from them, your quotes and their pricing, customers you record (name, contact, e-mail, phone, address, notes), purchase-order numbers, job notes, and your machines, tech tables, materials, pricing settings, company details and logo.

Documents you send to AI Parse. If you use AI Parse, the text and images of the documents you select are sent to OpenAI, L.L.C. together with your material list, so that quote lines can be extracted.

Instant-quote pages. If a shop turns on a public quote page, we process the name, company, e-mail, phone, reference and notes its customers submit there, and the part files they upload, on that shop's behalf; each request is stored as a quote in that shop's account.

Information collected automatically. We record technical and usage data: IP address, sign-in and last-seen times, request and error logs, and counts of events such as signups, saved quotes and AI Parse runs, which we use to operate the Service and enforce plan limits. The Service uses one strictly necessary cookie (plx_session) to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies in the Service and we do not sell personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information to create and administer your account and shop; to provide the Service, including importing parts, nesting, pricing, reports and exports; to take payment, manage subscriptions and send billing notices; to send service e-mails such as the welcome e-mail with your temporary password, password resets, trial reminders and failed-payment notices; to apply plan limits; to keep the Service secure and investigate abuse; to answer support requests; and to meet legal obligations. We do not use your part files, quotes or customer records to train artificial intelligence models.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with vendors and service providers that help us run the Service, under their data processing terms, and where required by law or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Some providers process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

4. Data Storage and Security

Service data is held in a PostgreSQL database and file storage operated by our hosting provider. Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS); passwords are stored only as salted hashes; each shop's data is separated from every other shop's and is reachable only through that shop's signed-in session. Temporary passwords are single-use and expire. We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

Uploaded part files are deleted as soon as they are read. Anything else you upload or generate that is not part of a saved quote — documents sent to AI Parse, nests, export files and unsaved quotes — is deleted after at most 30 days. Saved quotes, including their part geometry and nests, your customers and your settings are kept while your account exists. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Usage events — counts such as signup, first quote, quotes saved and AI Parse runs, with no file contents — are kept while the account exists and are deleted with it. When you delete your account, its data is removed from the Service immediately and from backups as they expire, within 30 days; billing and tax records that we or our payment processor must keep by law are retained for the period the law requires.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at [email protected]. You can also do it yourself at any time: Account > Download My Data exports your settings, machines, materials, customers and saved quotes, Account > Delete My Account cancels your subscription and permanently deletes your shop and everything in it, and you can correct the information in your shop directly in the app.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for professional users and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes take effect when posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will e-mail account owners before they take effect.
